Holi Festival

Holi is a major festival in India. It is a festival of Spring and Colours.
It is celebrated in many parts of India but especially North India.
Friends and family get together and eat sweets, dance, party, and throw coloured powder and water on each other.
Sometimes people chase each other with water guns and balloons filled with coloured water!
People mostly wear white clothes on Holi so the colours can brighten their outfits.
You can hear music being played by marching bands that walk through the streets.
